Interested in Mexico?
Scott Monette, of GCA's Houston office, presented a Webinar: "Mexico Energy Reform - Lessons Learned" on Wednesday March 23rd.
With the implementation of the Mexican Energy Reform now going on two years, and with the rapidly changing global energy landscape, what lessons can we learn from the first three bidding rounds? The presentation focuses on three key concepts:
What indications have the results from the bidding rounds provided to the oil & gas community about the prospects of successful energy reform in Mexico?
What challenges lie ahead in the oil & gas industry for the rest of 2016, and for 2017 and beyond?
How will the recent shake up at Pemex effect the chances for JV partnerships to spur investment in oil & gas?
The Association of International Petroleum Negotiators organised the event and admission was free. AIPN webinars, such as Scott's are often uploaded to the AIPN website. We'll let you know once it's there to view.
In the meanwhile you can read lots more of GCA's insight into Mexico here.
